4 Day countdown

Time sure has gone by quickly since leaving my job. We have been running around to get the last few items finished up as well as going to California for a visit with friends and family.

Karissa and Jillian were able to try out their new snorkle gear in my cousin's hot tub and our friend's pool. It would have been better if the weather would have been warmer. It seems the cold front that moved into Boise was big enough to cover Northern California as well.

We did brave the lake on Sunday morning and a few warm blooded souls tried the water sports. I was not one of them.

Now we are making sure all our accounts are closed or in good standing while we are out of the country. The IRS are such lovely people...that is another story that I don't want to go into. I am just hoping that we can get everything done before Sunday.

Well, our next blog should be coming from the island. Love to all!

Hello All! This is our blog spot for you to see what is going on in our lives. As this is our first update, we don't have much, but are hoping to add lots of pictures and comments about what we are up to.

Well, we are in the home stretch of our life here and looking forward to our next adventure. With less than three weeks left until we leave, we are frantically packing items for life abroad and packing the items we need to store for when we return to the States. I really should have quit my job a week earlier to get organized! Wes is trying to finish up the little jobs he has started, which will be a small help to the enormous amount of money that we need for both leaving and living. We will survive! The girls are very excited to leave and are asking every day if this is the day we leave.

For their birthdays, we got the kids snorkle gear to use at the beach. It was cute to see them dressed up and trying to walk around the house in their flippers.

Thank you for all your support and positive comments, as they are truly treasured!
